skeleton

My day-job ran an art competition for Halloween and this was my entry. When I painted this I was going through a black-on-monochrome, Hellboy-esque phase, and thought it would be fun to try and paint an anatomically-correct (ish) skeleton. I think it would make a pretty cool shirt design.

I highly recommend the book Framed Ink by Marcos Mateu-Mestre, because it single-handedly helped me to get the scale of this right. I still could have pushed it further and added more drama, but I wouldn't have gotten even to this point without that book.
