Words cannot describe how much I love both Superjail! and the Once-ler (don't @ me, I must be genuine to my truth). They were characters I fell in love with over the course of getting to know one of my dearest and closest friends, so they make me sentimental just looking at them. I could write very rambling, in-depth, useless essays regarding the psychology of both of them, and I think that the Warden especially is a great example of a character whose psychology remains remarkably consistent and very well-written despite the genre of the cartoon he's in.

That being said, I wanted to draw something dramatic and took a Hell of a lot of inspiration from some of the more bombastic parts of Spirited Away, because that movie knows how to go Big.
